Solar Candles - Solar Powered Candles for Indoor and Outdoor Use

With solar powered candles you can have all the beauty of flickering candlelight, with none of the danger of a naked flame.

In warm weather it's lovely to sit outside in the garden or on the patio, either contemplating life alone, or eating and drinking with friends.

Either way, when the sun goes down it's nice to add to the atmosphere with candlelight. Problem is, the slightest hint of a breeze sends the average candle to a spluttering end, not to mention having to contend with dripping melted wax dripping and smoke.

The answer is to invest in some solar candles. These will provide the atmospheric flickering light of a normal candle ~ just without any of the side effects.

 Solar powered candles come in wide range of designs from, pretty mosaic glass t-light types to torches standing 5ft tall.

Each candle has a small solar panel which, when exposed to sunlight during the day, charges the rechargeable batteries. Then when darkness falls the lights automatically come on and shine throughout the night ~ though the amount of time they will shine will depend on local conditions such as hours of sunlight etc.

Candles such as the t-lights can be used as both patio table lights or inside as solar candles for windows. Others such as the tall torches are designed for use as outdoor solar candles.

 These candles need to be either stuck straight into the ground or, if you want to be able to move them around easily - for example as the course of the sun changes throughout the year - they can be supported in plant pots.
